Welcome to EDS

Organisational Profile

The majority of Apprentices in the UK are recruited into the Applications Delivery organisation (AD) or the Information Technology Outsourcing organisation (ITO).

In the UK, Applications Delivery is further structured into regional units, whereas ITO is a single organisation.

Aprentices embark on their development programme within one of these organisations, typically the one that is most geographically convenient.

While each organisation differs in terms of number of offices, team structure, and specialist industries, they each share the same core values:

  • to lead, not follow

  • to consistently and efficiently deliver on promises for new and different clients

  • to excel in the delivery of existing business

  • to develop our people and the environment in which we work

  • to be proactive to changing environments

  • to provide a highly motivating, creative and rewarding environment

Each organisation also looks for similar qualifications and personal qualities in a candidate.
